Forst TT6
A compact turntable 6 inch towable wood chipper powered by a Briggs and Stratton Vanguard EFI 37hp petrol engine. At just 745kg with a rotating hopper that swings 90 degrees, the TT6 is significantly shorter than a standard chipper when turned, making it exceptionally easy to tow and manoeuvre on tight sites.

The Forst TT6 is a turntable 6 inch wood chipper that combines the proven Forst chipping system with a rotating hopper design for exceptional compactness during transport. The turntable mechanism allows the hopper to swing 90 degrees, reducing the overall length from 2772mm to just 2250mm. This makes the TT6 considerably shorter than any standard 6 inch chipper on the road, improving manoeuvrability behind the towing vehicle and simplifying access to tight parking and narrow driveways.
Powering the TT6 is a Briggs and Stratton Vanguard EFI 37hp petrol engine with electronic fuel injection for efficient fuel delivery. The machine weighs 745kg, sitting just below the threshold that allows towing on a standard car driving licence. Despite the compact footprint, no compromises have been made to the chipping performance. The TT6 uses the same chipping chamber and hopper as the wider Forst 6 series, with a chunky chassis, heavy-duty ring gear for the turntable, and the proven ForstGrip feed roller system.
Material enters through a 6 inch by 8 inch feed roller aperture into the ForstGrip system, where twin hydraulic rollers tensioned by heavy-duty springs climb in an arc over the timber for maximum grip. The crushing power breaks through limbs and forks with ease. The open top flywheel measures 640mm by 25mm and carries twin 8 inch blades, delivering the same aggressive chipping performance that defines the Forst range. Wet and green material is processed without blockages thanks to the open flywheel design, which throws chip rather than blowing it.
The AutoIntelligence electrical control system manages all electrics through a fully waterproof and vibration-proof platform. Feed and reverse are operated by touch pad buttons, and the AutoIntelligence No Stress Device monitors engine load to automatically adjust the feed rate and prevent stalling. The system tracks service intervals and prompts maintenance when due.
Build quality is a standout feature of the TT6. All steel fabrications are manufactured to a high standard and finished with an e-coat paint process, the same coating technology used in automotive manufacturing for superior corrosion resistance. The body panels are solid GRP, providing toughness at a fraction of the weight of steel and helping keep the machine under 750kg. The machine sits low with a low centre of gravity, which means it tows beautifully behind any vehicle, a particularly important quality for a turntable product.
At 1492mm wide and 2350mm tall with the chute fitted, the TT6 is compact in every dimension. Noise output is rated at 118dB. The anvil can be turned or replaced in minutes for minimal downtime. Every new Forst TT6 comes with a 3 year warranty as standard.
The Forst TT6 is available for sale, offering landscapers, arborists, and rental operators a powerful, lightweight, and versatile 6 inch chipper that packs serious performance into the most compact package in the Forst range.
