The FSI B22 is a self-propelled pedestrian stump grinder that combines the compact 680mm width of the FSI B-series with hydraulic wheel drive for effortless movement across terrain and up ramps. Powered by a 14hp Kohler CH440 petrol engine with electric start, the B22 provides reliable starting at the turn of a key and consistent power for professional stump removal.
The hydraulic 2WD system drives large 410mm x 110mm wheels through individual hydraulic motors, with direction of travel controlled simply by turning a section of the handle. A bypass valve allows disengagement of the drive for freewheeling when needed. Manual brakes on each wheel provide secure holding on slopes.
The FSI power-cut cutter wheel measures 386mm in diameter with 8 FSI 21 teeth, driven through a V-belt clutch system that transfers engine power efficiently with minimal loss. The cutting head works 30cm above ground and 25cm below, with a generous 106cm sweep width and maximum cutting depth of 2.1cm per sweep.
The vibration-damped, height-adjustable handle with pivot-point design reduces operator fatigue when sweeping the cutter arm from side to side. A safety bar ensures the cutter wheel disengages immediately upon release. Multiple lashing and lifting points enable quick securing for transport.
