The Sherpa 100 Eco brought about a revolution in the world of construction and demolition work when Hanenberg Materieel became the first manufacturer to introduce an electric mini skid steer. By combining the compact versatility of the Sherpa 100 platform with a powerful and durable electric motor, the 100 Eco delivers performance comparable to combustion engine models while producing zero exhaust emissions and minimal noise.

Powered by a PMAC motor producing 4.2hp (3.1 kW) with a 24V electrical system and 8.6 kWh battery capacity, the 100 Eco provides dependable working power throughout the day. The absence of exhaust fumes makes it particularly suitable for indoor demolition work, stable environments, warehouses, and any application where air quality is a concern. The near-silent operation also makes it ideal for noise-sensitive environments such as residential areas and hospitals.

The hydrostatic drive system powers all four wheels through chain transmission, with skid steering providing the tight manoeuvrability that makes the Sherpa 100 series so effective in confined spaces. The machine achieves a turning radius of 1,606mm, or 2,250mm with the bucket fitted, and a maximum proportional travel speed of 4 km/h for precise, controlled operation.

The hydraulic system delivers 13 litres per minute at 150 bar, with a 38-litre hydraulic tank. A breakout force of 535 kg and tractive force of 290 kg provide the muscle needed for loading, excavating, and material handling. The hinge point coupling plate reaches a maximum height of 2,050mm, giving clearance for loading into skips, trucks, and containers.

Weighing 759 kg with standard 4.00×10 traction profile tyres, the Sherpa 100 Eco measures 1,520mm in length, 760mm in width, and 1,220mm in height without the bucket. This compact footprint allows the machine to pass through standard doorways and work in spaces that would otherwise require manual labour. Ground clearance of 121mm and a wheelbase of 657mm contribute to stability across uneven surfaces.

Tipping loads with pallet forks at low position are 269 kg (straight) and at high position 196 kg (straight), with a 30% safety factor recommended. The machine is compatible with the full range of Sherpa 100 attachments including buckets, pallet forks with clamp, and hydraulic log grabs, making it a versatile emission-free tool for construction, demolition, landscaping, and agricultural applications.
